Military Superintendent and Grand Coordinator of Zhejiang Province and other Areas, Right Assistant Censor-in-Chief of the Censorate, Wang Qia, Erects [this Memorial Arch] in Commemoration of Metropolitan Graduate in the dingchou year of the Wanli reign period (1577), Secretary of Sacrifice Office of the Ministry of Rites, [who] remonstrated [with the emperor] 建言 and was beaten at court for the commoners 廷杖為民, by Imperial Edict in 1623, [later pardoned and] Conferred the title of Vice Minister, and recipient of sacrifice by Imperial Order 諭祭, Lu Hongchun 盧洪春 (Inscribed horizontally; located at west of Residence of the Upright Official on Main Road.) On the Auspicious Dawn of the First Month of Winter, in the jiazi Year of the Tianqi Reign Period (1624)
