Planting Virue Hall was built in 1608, for the purpose of commemorating the ancestors and uniting the descendants. It was destroyed by fire in 1786 and was rebuilt in 1849.

The Back Hall was built, destroyed by fire, and rebuilt at the same time as Planting Virtue Hall. The rooms were used to hold meetings at which lineage members decided on family business.
