Vegetable Farm
Created by: Bill B.
| Title: |
Vegetable Farm |
|---|---|
| Description: |
This vegetable farm, though without anyone working on it, is the only sign of any settlement in the rural area depicted in the painting. Vegetable is apparently a staple items in all the shops throughout the city, in addition to being part of the diet of the city dwellers. In the Northern Song, we began to see large-scale commercial vegetable farms, a full-fledged "commodification" of vegetable produce. |
