English introduction to the study

A small pavilion, with titled-roof, elevated above ground. It stands right next to the vegetable farm in the country, on the boundary between the rural area and the city. It is also the only pavilion depicted in the painting.

The bracket on the eastern side

East Chanting Hall was built during 1488-1506. It has been renovated several times, most recently in the early twentieth century.
